Color Blind

It’s quite a revelation when you realise that taking photographs is like drawing with light. Right now I’m sitting here contemplating how everything I see is the work of light, and the wonder of it all is threatening to turn my tired brain to complete mush. It’s been such a very long day; I’m happily relishing this empty space at the end. Also I’ve been fascinated with shooting black and white lately. Seeing the world without color opens your eyes to the light, and all the forms and textures around you. I’ll probably be doing this for a bit. More than a bit. But first I need to get some shuteye, and put to rest the gazillion thoughts buzzing in my head like flies. That one fact is evident from my apparent incoherence right now.
